Each student is a different starting point depending on playing ability and age among a multitude of other factors. I am willing to negotiate to give any help the student needs at any level. However, for beginners we will always start learning by ear, as well as singing and clapping (sound before symbol). With older students I also like to transition into some more challenging arenas such as the Blazhevitch books. Any advanced students who want to focus on jazz will be using the Jazz Conception Method.
