I will give assignments and create goals but also want the student to be self motivated. I will not be overly strict when it comes to practice. I understand that every student has different learning capabilities which is why I cater each lesson to each student's unique abilities. I work with each student at their own pace to learn and improve upon their skills as a musician. After moving to Philadelphia I have developed a strong concept for teaching which includes a focus on the fundamentals to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. If the students have music from classes in school, I will also assist them with that. I try to keep the lesson light, and enjoyable!
