I am a Music Educator with a lot of trumpet playing experience. I have never stopped playing my trumpet. I practice my trumpet as time permits and perform every chance I have. I like to travel and study musical styles and instruments from different countries. I also love the outdoors. I am passionate about instrumental music and want my students to feel the same. During the first lesson, I get to know the student, find out their interests and determine which course will be the best start. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a student revel in their own personal relationship with music, but to share their love of music, this is paramount. I am a fully-certified music educator of 18 years: I have taught both middle school band & choir to at-risk youth for 3 years, as well as elementary music at a private Christian academy for an additional 3 years.
