In 2018 I graduated with honors from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance where I studied with Chad Winkler of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. My favorite part about teaching, is the idea of passing my knowledge on, and making sure that the student knows that he or she can accomplish anything with the right tools. I have been singing since I was 6, playing trumpet since I was 10, and I picked up guitar in my early 20's. I am now 49 and have taught voice, guitar, trumpet for over 7 years from my cozy home. I have been part of many musical ensembles (in many genres) in my 30 year career and have session work that's currently located in the Seattle Rock Roll museum. In addition to directing middle school and high school bands in the public school setting, I have also taught music appreciation (both middle and high school level), kindergarten music, and philosophy courses to college undergrads.
