With more experienced students, I utilize standard brass methods, such as the Arban Complete Trombone Method, the Bordogni/Rochut Melodious Etudes, and the Kopprasch 60 Selected Studies. I focus on the fundamentals.  When a student has a firm grasp on the fundamentals they can survive in any arena being a musician may place you in. Additionally I like to help my students discover their unique voice and how that uniqueness helps to add to a bands overall performance. Additionally, To me band is much more then just an extracurricular activity. The love of music is one of the strongest passions in my life. I have been preforming professionally with the U.S. Fleet Marine Corps Music program for almost ten years. Through that program I have been able to perform in sixteen different countries for presidents, vice presidents, kings, queens, and prime ministers.
