I then continued teaching once in college by volunteering at local high schools helping new students to the band programs learn brass and percussion. In addition to directing middle school and high school bands in the public school setting, I have also taught music appreciation (both middle and high school level), kindergarten music, and philosophy courses to college undergrads.
