Each student is unique in the way they learn and progress. I come in to each new lesson trying to learn what works best for each student, as well as what each student is trying to gain from the lessons. My teaching style is just like most I think. I don't rush with the students. Always trying to go slow and make sure the students understands everything. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out when the students get what I'm trying to teach. If I feel like I'm going to fast I'll stop think about what I'm doing and slow down. As mentioned previously my teaching style is collaborative. I love working with students to help them achieve their musical goals and it is incredibly rewarding to watch their individual progress along their musical journey. I like to encourage and challenge students to become the best player that they can. Supporting the students as they make their way towards their goal is a big part of what I do.
