My teaching experience began in my early days of learning music. I was able to learn and find a method of madness to fit whichever person was asking me to show them how to play what I play. Although I was young, I was eager to see the results of excitement from a friend or cousin learning the art of music in the simplest ways. Fast forward years later, and teaching fell into my lap at Big Spring Intermediate 5th grade level. Read More

As a teacher, my goal is to assist each student in finding their own creative voice and guide them through the process of learning to express themselves through music. In addition to learning the guitar, I encourage my students to listen carefully and take notice to all the accompanying instruments in the music that they enjoy listening to. Read More
Instruments: Bass Guitar, Double Bass

That involves learning scales and patterns.Listening to the types of music you are interested in can be very helpful and fun and I like to encourage that. Read More
