I begain teaching as a band assistant in college. I would lead sectionals and work with students who where struggiling one on one. During my entire career, I have worked as a private teacher of Clarinet and Saxophone, with people from all ages, 10 to 60. In 2011, I also worked as a Clarinet and Saxophone teacher for Altamira School, a private school in Santiago, Chile. My experience in teaching is not only in the musical aspect. I was also a Spanish teacher for Centro Latino in Berkeley. Teaching music is like teaching another languages. In my specialties, clarinet and saxophone, the pause, breathing and acentuation have a very important part in phrasing the notes.
