I continue to practice and study every day. Since graduating with a degree in Jazz, I continue my studies of piano, saxophone, and flute, and most recently, North Indian vocal Music. My label and music has been presented at the Lincoln Center Film Society, The BJ Rubin Show (NY 1), and John Schaefer's New York public radio show, New Sounds. My studio is a very comfortable and professional place for recording, mixing, and teaching. Read More

I am a caring, kind, and inspiring educator going into my 4th and final year at IU Jacobs School of Music for Music Education and Clarinet Performance. I am originally from Wappingers Falls, NY. I was motivated at a young age to pursue music from listening to my sister play the double bass and having excellent educators. I am looking to inspire my students just as my teachers have inspired me. Read More

My teaching methods are essentially designed to give the student maximum command of his/her skills on their chosen instrument. First, all students must know the music essentials and the masters, especially on their instrument. Technique must be perfected by daily practice. I seek from every individual the highest level that they can attain to. No one knows exactly what that is but what is surprising and refreshing are the boundaries once thought impossible to accomplish have been broken. Read More

For my beginning students, I generally start with the book their school teacher wants them to use, or I have students use the Yamaha book 1. If the student begins in middle school or high school, I like to use the Rubank books. I believe that working on solo repertoire is an important part of learning and performing, so I begin my students on solo repertoire as soon as possible. I choose solo works that are in the ability of the student, yet offer enough of a challenge to help the student learn and grow. Read More

Hello everyone! I am a professional saxophonist who graduated with a Bachelors degree in saxophone performance from Peabody Conservatory of Music in 2022. I am currently working towards my master's in saxophone performance at the Hartt School of Music, so I am relatively new to the greater Hartford area. Throughout my musical career, I had the opportunity to commission and premiere many new works for the saxophone, and I hope to continue this work as I strive to be a leader in the world of contemporary classical music. I am a large proponent of fundamentals, and will always encourage students to refine these techniques first. This will include scales, tone production, voicing and overtones, and more! Alongside this will be a combination of student choice pieces and etudes from various books. I like to start with the Melodious and Progressive Studies by David Hite, then progress to Ferling's 48 etudes for more advanced students. Finally, we will also begin adding student choice pieces, as well as some pieces(or transcriptions) from the standard saxophone repertoire! Read More
