I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2014, I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Music Education. Performing all over the country has been one of the greater music experiences of my life as a musician. For beginning students, I usually start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the student has a solid foundation on fundamentals, I begin to increase the rigor of the work. Each student is different, so I try to personalize their lessons. I like for every student to have at least one solo piece to be working on. I have always loved to teach. I began teaching in elementary school in 6th grade, where I would help in kindergarten classroom as a mentor program. In the 10th grade I would often visit my 9th grade science teacher and help her with her class. At 17 I taught a couple adults to read.
