To me as a musician, teaching is as important and as necessary to our art as performing, and it is always a joy to share that art with students. I graduated from Kent State University in 2015 with my Bachelor of Science in Music Education, followed by a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance in 2019, and recently completed an Artist Diploma from UC-CCM. Although a bassoonist primarily, I've performed with orchestras such as the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and the Warren Philharmonic, as well as bands like the Akron Symphonic Winds, the Cleveland Winds, and the Packard Band. These are the things that make teaching rewarding for me. Read More

Each student learns differently, therefore I will be constantly working to see what style of teaching works best for each individual. I have found that constant encouragement keeps students engaged and eager to learn and to let the music itself challenge the student. By finding out what a student is most interested in we can keep their love of music alive and use it to help them further learn to reach their goals. Read More
