My teaching experience began at the University of Tulsa. I taught voice to a few students who were non music majors for about a year. After graduating from the University of Tulsa, I began teaching at Brook Fine Arts Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I taught over 30 students a week in both voice and piano (ages 3 to 20) for over a year. I base my teaching methods on the student I am teaching. For students that are children at a beginner level, I typically begin with the essential elements of creating vocal foundation which I draw from many sources. Once we have set a good foundation, we tend to begin working on repertoire that is appropriate for the level at which they are singing, using those songs as learning opportunities. For adults, I begin by asking about the goals of the individual student and I then formulate a strategy to help the student reach their specific singing goals. Read More

I am a freelance cellist who records and performs frequiently with local artist in the Oklahoma City Metro area. I also perform regularly with the Oklahoma City String Quartet. In 2015 I graduated from the Oklahoma City University with a Master's Degree in Cello Performance, and in 2013 from the Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Piano and Cello Performance.
