Eric Schwartz has studied composition at the Cleveland Institute of Music, New York University, and both the Interlochen and Aspen Summer Music Festivals. Past teachers have included Margaret Brouwer, Donald Erb, George Tsontakis, and Randy Woolf. I'm a passionate musician who loves composing original works and inspiring other people to fall in love with music. Despite the lack of formal degrees in a music related major, I've been certified to teach piano and have substituted for piano teachers on multiple occasions. I collaborate with local musicians that include drummers, guitarists, singers, and bassists and love to perform in front of audiences. I completed my MM degree in the Spring of 2023 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, College of Visual and Performing Arts, studying clarinet performance with Dr. Andy Hudson and Dr. Anthony Taylor.
