Hi, my name is Caroline, and I began playing at the age of 3, formal training at age 5, studying with professional pianists all the way through college. I am classically trained, and studied classical piano as well as Jazz in college and beyond. I enjoy learning and teaching all types of music, including composition and improvisation. I have been a music instructor since 1979. I teach the piano, spinet organ and keyboards. I also have a passion in MIDI computer music. My teaching experience involves both in the school classroom setting and outside in the private studio. I was given the opportunity to work as a vocal consultant at the middle school level in 2016 and coached the students one-on-one on their region competition pieces. The following year, I taught private voice lessons of which most were beginning students. Both students I've taught have had entirely different goals, one just trying to learn drumset and the other wanting to learn a song for his talent show.
