I teach how to read music and mainly use Faber & Faber method for both children and adults. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Faber and Faber primer level. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce scales and solo repertoire. The selection of books will vary because there is no "one size fits all" solution. I introduce fundamentals, then solo pieces in various styles.
