I started doing musicals and concerts at church around age 4 and entered community theatre around age 6. My enthusiasm for the performing arts continued to grow throughout childhood, and my teenage years. I started teaching in 2009 in Mississippi. I taught 6th grade band (beginner), 7th grade band, and high school. I taught in Mississippi for 5 years and just recently moved to Tennessee. I teach students how to teach themselves by use of recording themselves and to learn how to ask themselves questions and observations to make maximum progress.
