It is very important for students to grasp the fundamentals. For intermediate students, we would progress on a track and focus on what they had for goals. For younger students who are children, I usually start with Faber Piano Adventures. Once the student has worked in fundamentals and get a better understanding of the instrument, I will begin introducing solo repertoire appropriate for his or her level.
