In 2010, I graduated from VanderCook College of Music with a Bachelor's in Music Education. I have played in a variety of instrumental ensembles on different instruments, from euphonium, trombone, marimba and drum-set to name a few. I spend about a third of the lesson on specific technique work and I always encourage students to bring in their own material that we can work on as well.
