I am a piano/music teacher with extensive experience of over 45 years.  I have been teaching many students over the years in my studio, in their homes, at Temple University – 30 years, in many Music Schools and Conservatories.  My students are children 8 years old and older and adults of every age.  I am always tailoring my teaching according to the needs and potential of my students.  I motivate my students and encourage them to practice consistently and play.  I try to convey to my students my love and passion for music and the piano so that they can be inspired and love the music that they practice and play.  I encourage my students to play in the recitals I organize and enter competitions to achieve results as well as enjoyment. If a student comes in as a beginner, I will teach them the notes first, then reading on the staff and chords. I try to encourage everyone to learn how to read music, but certain students prefer to learn pieces quicker, in which case I can speed up the process by telling them the notes to play. I constantly ask the students for the piece that they want to play themselves and I encourage them to try them even if they feel like it appears too difficult. Read More

I stay flexible to the individual students' needs. I try to keep the student engaged and ask many questions to help them become their own best teacher. I will give assignments and create goals but also want the student to be self motivated. I will not be overly strict when it comes to practice. I am a Boston based musician who currently works as a pianist at Boston Ballet School and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. I graduated from New England Conservatory with an MM in Collaborative Piano, and received my BM in Piano Performance from New York University. I have performed as a soloist and with ensembles at venues including Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
