All of my students can expect to participate in the hundred-day practice method, which requires practice each and everyday (even if it is just scales or review). Once they hit one hundred days, they will earn a reward within the studio. If the student is young (6+) I will bend down to their height and introduce myself. I recognize that its necessary to give them space. I ask for their name, sometimes Mom and Dad answer.
