Everyone has unique physiology and strengths and weaknesses, so each person should be taught according to their specific characteristics. I use different methods depending of the students' age and ability. Singers should always learn to breathe correctly and vocalize depending on their range. A positive teaching environment is vital to encourage a student's progress. Lessons should also be fun. If the student is not having fun then something is not right.
