I am a dedicated and passionate instructor who loves watching students improve and succeed. In 2015, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance. I attended Wright State University to earn my Master of Music degree in Flute Performance and worked as a graduate teaching assistant during my time there. I graduated from Wright State in 2017. She received her bachelor and master’s degrees at the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Cleveland Orchestra Principal Cellist, Mark Kosower. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in cello performance at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music where she studies with Professor Alan Rafferty. In addition to her performances on stage, Ms. Ma has appeared in movies with famous actors such as Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith, Justin Chatwin, Peter Stormare and Elizabeth Anweis. Read More

I am a passionate teacher of the flute and piccolo. I am currently available to teach lessons at my home studio or online. I have helped students prepare for performances in Cincinnati and Japan, scholarship auditions, and begin the flute from scratch. I understand the needs of young students and works to instill confidence in every musician I teach. I began flute later than many (age 14 to be exact).
