Students must understand that although proper technique and a "nice voice" can get attention, long-term success is greatly determined by how they can create and retain a following, and keep up with a demanding, competitive, and constant-changing industry.  I enjoy teaching and feel I can be a great fit for reverb lessons! thank you. I have been teaching piano, guitar, bass and music production from my house studio in Berkeley for over 5 years now. I currently teach from my graduate studio at Cal State University East Bay.  I also have taught for groups for a former organization called Music Camp Rocks in Pleasanton, California. I graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelors in Music Performance and recently graduated from New England Conservatory with a Masters in Saxophone Performance. From experience, these are all the basic tools a student needs to work on their fundamentals before diving into full fledged solo pieces for competitions. Beginning students have to start from the bottom. These students will start by learning how to hold the violin and the bow, for example, and slowly but surely get into reading music and eventually playing simple scales and melodies from an elementary book.
