Once these fundamentals are acquired, we move on to the basics of reading music and playing the clarinet such as learning the circle of fourths and practicing pieces of music that is from a certain major scale. I also had the opportunity to do a study abroad Opera program with Oberlin in Italy where I was able to study with teachers from the Eastman School of Music.
