For begginging piano sudents who are children I typicall being with John Thompson's "Teaching Little Fingers to Play." Once the student has completed their fundemental training we being to introduce more solo repertoire tailored to their interested. We work on one classical and one comtemporary song of their choosing. For adult piano students, we discuss their goals and what they are interested in and I tailor my instruction no matter their instrumental expereince.  For Voice students I asses each vocalist and provide a completley unique one of kind vocal lesson package tailored to the students ability, sound, and experience no matter what that may be. For all students I typically teach from Musicians Institute’s curriculum. This curriculum is tailored in a clear and concise form to progress chronologically from the bottom up. The books I use can help to develop performance, reading, and technique etc at levels beginner through advanced. Most kids I try to teach with additional factors to keep lessons entertaining, and for adults I try to give them as much information as possible while catering to where they are trying to get as a drummer as opposed to the overall knowledge a kid needs. For beginning students, I start with the Drummers Complete Vocabulary, which establishes good technique. Simultaneously, based on the students interests, I pick two styles that the student would like to begin working on. Once they've learnt a specific rudiment, I show them how to use that in everyday performance and get creative with it by applying that in beats, fills etc. If the student has a specific song or style that they want to learn, I help them break it down into simple parts so that they can understand and perfect it really easily. I'm a professional saxophone player based in Los Angeles. At the age of 10, I started playing saxophone because my parents were asking me if I was interested in music. I started my first saxophone quartet at the age of 12. I was accepted by Shanghai Conservatory of Music's Contemporary Music department in 2012 under the instruction of the jazz saxophone professor Xiaolu Zhang. I began my career teaching privately in Beverly Hills in 2004, and also worked with the Yamaha Music school (Los Angeles branch) in 2005. In addition to teaching beginners, I also trained students for city competitions and recitals. A few years later, I was able to collaborate with SOMA music school in Diamond Bar and taught piano performance to students of various abilities. In 2009, I relocated to Korea temporarily and worked for the Yamaha Music school (Seoul branch), teaching musical development for younger children as well as giving private lessons to beginner-intermediate level students.
