Once the students not only progress, but also tailor the path that want to follow, I will adjust every single aspect to help you get to your goals in a smart way. For my beginner students, who are younger, I start off with the Faber series in the Primer levels. After progressing through the first few levels of the series, I then start to introduce solo repertoire depending on the interests of the student. For my older students, we also go through the Faber Adult Piano Adventures book, where we learn the basics of piano along with some fun pieces. I teach more information outside of the book which is not taught until later to get ahead. Read More

I encourage them to stretch beyond the familiar while providing a very individualistic approach to their lessons. I began teaching five years ago with a diverse studio that covered everything from musical theatre to hip hop. I currently teach at a music studio here in Jacksonville, where I have a large studio of private students as well as group music classes for elementary and preschool aged children. I emphasize exploration and curiosity and encourage my students to explore multiple genres of music. Classical voice is my favorite thing to teach but I love when my students bring me new and exciting pieces of all kinds to work on. Read More
