I earned my Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance in 2010, also from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. I graduated from Duquesne University in spring of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with a concentration in cello. While I have a general curriculum, I am very flexible and try to adjust to my every student individually. Generally I like to employ books by Suzuki, as I find them very methodical, as well as easily accessible. I supplement the Suzuki books by Alwin Schroeder's 170 foundation studies, and lots of scales and technical exercises. I encourage active listening and work with a student to build confidence performing. I like to set goals for my students, weather it's perfecting the rudiments, learning a song or a piece in an exercise book. It is important to me that each student progresses at his or her own pace.
