For beginners I usually supplement their beginner band book with some simple drills from Schlossberg's Daily Drills or some I wrote myself. After focusing on such a singular goal, I began to see what this amazing instrument can do. I love working with children and helping them discover the piano and the joy of playing music. I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy and have been teaching ever since. I am an active member of the Richardson Music Teachers Association, which affords many musical opportunities for my students.
