I have been both a general music and a band teacher, working with students in Preschool through Eighth Grade. With my private students I emphasize regular practice as the best way to improve and keep having fun with an instrument. Depending on the instrument, I will bring in another method book specific to that instrument book and we will also use some sort of etude book.
