Taking music lessons is an awesome experience, and my goal is to make it as fun and accessible as possible for each student. I have high expectations, but I make sure that the goals we set are achievable and realistic for each student. We discuss those goals together, and work toward them at the right pace for the student! Everyone is different, and I want to make sure that each student gets the best learning experience for them! Read More

Having patience is the greatest way to be successful! Whatever goal you are looking for, being patient about your progress is the most important aspect when starting out in music or pursuing a career. In a world where everything is going by so quickly, we tend to forget and appreciate some of the things happening in the background. We will set realistic goals and create mini-goals to hit those marks. Read More

I began teaching private lessons and group classes over 10 years ago immediately after graduating high school and beginning studies at SMU's Meadows School of the Arts. Once the student has learned the fundamentals, I introduce them to the solo repertoire appropriate for their level and their genre of greatest interest to them. I hold a recital once a year to give students experience in performance. Read More

Nothing is more important for me than seeing a student succeed! I am a firm believer in giving a student plenty of praise and encouragement for all their hard work. I think it is important to give credit where credit is due, and I definitely will not hold back any positive feedback when they have accomplished something new. I am sure there will be mistakes, but I do not think we should dwell on them. Read More

I am a professional level violinist who has been playing for almost ten years. I started my internship in my junior year of high school as a middle school orchestra assistant and I have enjoyed teaching ever since. I am a current student at the University of North Florida where I am studying Music Education and participating in the UNF Orchestra. We, as an orchestra, have had multiple opportunities to travel and play with other groups and in places of high respect. Read More

I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old and ever since the piano has been such a huge part of my life. I have been teaching piano since I was 16 and that was when I realized that teaching would always be apart of my life. Teaching someone how to play from the beginning is my true passion because it is such a beautiful thing to be able to learn such an astounding instrument and I love to be apart of that process.
