I am a patient and supportive teacher who tailors his instruction to each student's experience, age, and needs. Over the course of our lessons I set realistic goals for the student that enable them to progress steadily, develop confidence, and deepen their interest. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a student grow, and I make it a point to acknowledge their improvement and the merit of their accomplishments. I emphasize steady, efficient practicing methods and encourage students to develop their skills and understanding. Read More

I am very invested in each student's success, and in finding an inspiring way to achieve it. I believe strongly in avoiding tension and burn-out, and instead seek to find sustainable and productive avenues through which to become not only an excellent technician, but a superior artist.
