For young children I will start with the basics of music. Laying the fondation for years to come. With young children it is important to not overtax the voice and to consider their attention span. When I started college, I continued to teach flute lessons and I then began teach saxophone lessons as well. I'm very interested in the psychology of motivation for each individual student, realizing that what "works" with one student may not be effective with another.
