I am very patient and responsibe teacher. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. I've been interested in music ever since I was little and have been playing music with various instruments since I was in the 5th grade. I focused on saxophone when I was in junior high and continued through high school. It was my first passion even when going off to college. I went to school for Audio Production to learn another set of skills that has served me since 2005. I grew up in the Cleveland area and learned to play trumpet in my school music program starting in the fifth grade, which is typical of my students. I went on to earn a bachelor of music degree from Baldwin Wallace University in 1978. I've also earned a teaching certificate for music K-12, through Cleveland State University in 1993. I have performed frequently in northeast Ohio and have toured the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Read More

But like playing any other musical instrument, vocalism requires constant practice, discipline and care to cultivate into an effective and healthful talent. By blending foundational techniques and triggering my students' unique musical passions, I strive to offer a learning experience that is as efficacious as it is enjoyable. Read More
