Once the student has progressed and has a good grasp of the fundamentals, I will bring in other repertoire appropriate to their level. For a typical beginner, I will first teach posture and note identification followed by basic warm-ups. Once the basics are taught, the student will be allowed more flexibility in the repertoire and specific skills he/she wants to learn.
