For children under the age of 9, I recommend a Suzuki-based method which involves the parents at each lesson and for at-home practice. For children 9 and up, I offer a more traditional classical approach which shows them how to read, interpret and gives them the technical skills on the instrument to enjoy themselves and keep on growing musically. Teaching piano is a great joy. My job is to assess the students abilities and lead them down the appropriate paths to achieving their musical goals.
