I Started with music 17 years now . I began age 10 with cello. 2 years later started the guitar. Picked up along the way electric bass, upright bass, ukulele , mandolin , banjo, basic piano and learning accordion. All middle and high school was in the orchestra. Graduated 2009, then attended Lone-star for 2 years taking music classes. I was in a band for about 3 years. We did some events, but then I decide to leave. While every student can and will progress according to their needs, I think its important to start with basics, like how to properly hold and play the instrument. Once the basics are down, well usually transition towards learning more music theory, like scales and chord structures, and how to build a song from the ground up.
