I'm a passionate and dedicated guitar instructor who loves working with students and sharing my enthusiasm for music. Ive been playing guitar for over ten years, focusing primarily on J-pop music, which has been a huge source of inspiration for me. My formal training includes being part of IVCs guitar ensemble, where Ive had the opportunity to perform with talented musicians and refine my skills in a collaborative setting. Teaching guitar began as a way to give back to my church community, and since then, Ive enjoyed helping students of all ages develop their own love for music. Read More

If we are making ground and they are picking up a lot I will give them more and more tools to work with to keep them inspired and moving! I love seeing people get excited. I feel excited sometimes when they are excited. It is an infectious energy and is filled with life. Read More

As a teacher I can help you grow your abilities on your instrument. Help you achieve the cool warm sound you want from the saxophone. Help you get the dexterity on the instrument you need. And get a more broad understanding of how music is played and created. Throughout my career since I was 16 years old I have taught children, teenagers and adults from beginners to advanced levels. I hold a Masters degree in jazz, composition and teaching from The Rhytmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and have also taught several courses there and at other distinguished music conservatories. My teaching experience started while finishing my second program in college in 2016. With a career planned, I was ready to start sharing the ways of the fretboard to my students. With that, comes something thats most important, dedication. With dedication, you start a practice strategy, whether you want to memorize all the 12 major scales in all five CAGED patterns, or learn Hendrix's "Purple Haze" there must be dedication. Setting goals is very important to learning music, or your instrument, achieving is when you've finally reached what you've strived for, and challenge is when you take your goal and add some "spice" to it, whether it's playing faster, or learning the modes of the major scale.
