I quickly discovered the gratification that comes from sharing and teaching music. I've taught students of all ages and abilities and enjoy the variation in the lessons within this scope. I had a lot more fun with music when I’d learn at the pace I wanted to learn, and work on pieces I felt most interested in. I took guitar with Michael Engberg there for two years and also took fundamentals of music, music business, music technology, and a song writing class. I transferred over to Metropolitan State University of Denver and began my Bachelors degree sequence under the wing of Alex Komodore. I graduated from Metro in May 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance, and the experience thus far has been amazing. I began teaching music lessons before I actually graduated with my degree in Music Education! In college, I gave voice lessons to fellow students regularly and lead many rehearsals and after school music camps for elementary and middle school aged students. While student teaching, I had the opportunity to lead 5 different choirs, lead 8 different levels of music education and give after school tutoring to students. My primary student base is ages 4-16. I also have several adult students where I teach advanced vocal performance. I have taught two different hour long group vocal classes twice a week, one for ages 3-6, and the other for 7-10 year olds. On average, I teach around 30 lessons a week, mostly 30/45 minute sessions, and several hour long sessions in addition to my group classes.   I specialize in advanced vocal instruction and talent development.
