My style is open minded. I first try to know the students' goals and prepare a course of action accordingly. Then I try to know how much the students already knows and how much talent they have. That allows me to determine how fast I may go with them or how much I must drill and develop a particular skill before going on. I typically teach with method books as references for younger students, occasionally using printouts to give to students to take home and study in order to have a better undertanding of what was gone over in class.
