I began teaching music lessons before I actually graduated with my degree in Music Education! In college, I gave voice lessons to fellow students regularly and lead many rehearsals and after school music camps for elementary and middle school aged students. While student teaching, I had the opportunity to lead 5 different choirs, lead 8 different levels of music education and give after school tutoring to students. I began my guitar studies at the age of 12. A contemporary of the Tarrega School, I have taught and performed regularly as both soloist and ensemblist throughout my career. In 2012, I earned my Bachelors Degree in music performance from the University of Nebraska Omaha while studying with classical guitarist Hadley Heavin.
