Once the student has progressed and has a good grasp of the fundamentals, I will bring in other repertoire appropriate to their level. Every student is unique and has their own musical language to develop and it is my philosophy that unique students require unique approaches. All of that being said, I utilize lesson time as efficiently as possible to give students the tools they need to progress in their own solo practice. And once they have improved to the point where have the ability to learn songs they will be taught the songs they will love to play.
