My lessons focus on trouble areas identified during the initial lesson. I would develop a plan of attack setting realistic goals that are both measureable, realistic and obtainable to achieve. A usual model lesson would consist of the following segments: 1. I do my best to make private lessons fun as well as productive. I utilize the blue Rubank books for students of all levels. No matter how developed a student may be there is always something of value in these books. I teach through positive reinforcement and encouragement with a set structure that allows for discipline and certain benchmarks that can determine success and mastery of certain skills. I truly believe that when students are nurtured and given a comfortable space they will excel as creating music and art is vulnerable and requires the student to let go. As not all students will have the desire to become professional musicians, the ultimate goal is to build lifelong lovers of the arts...and if the student decides that music is a career, then the lessons are geared accordingly. I have volunteer experience doing 5 years of marching band and 2 of those 5 years, I was the section leader for the trumpet section. I also was an Intern as music teacher, student teaching, for 1 Semester of Senior year – 2017 – 2018. For my professional experience, I have done a few gigs on trumpet. I played at Messiah Lutheran Church in Reynoldsburg OH as a Trumpet Player for their Easter services.(4/21/19) and (4/1/2018). He has been awarded three times by the Ohio Arts Council and eleven  times by the Greater Columbus Arts Council for CD recordings of Latin American, classical, original music and for chamber music recitals in Franklin County, OH USA. He has studied with the world renowned Irish flutist Sir James Galway who wrote of Rodolfo: “Your music is charming and beautifully played.”In August 2006 and then again in August 2008 he participated in the Sir James Galway International Flute Masterclass in Interlaken and Weggis, Switzerland performing with the Sir James Galway Flute Choir both  times.
