In 2018, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Flute Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where I studied with Kathryn Lukas. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with fundamentals in tone (Trevor Wye) and Moyse daily studies (I still use it myself!) . Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
