Most of my experience with teaching has taken place while traveling on the road and helping individuals prepare for recording sessions. However for more than 10 years now, I've rendered my services at neighborhood schools (elementary and high school); music workshops; private homes; and local churches; working with young people as an assistant teacher, private music teacher and/ or teaching artist. I usually play with the student to ensure that they know I am working just as much as they are. Students tend to enjoy working on what they are passionate about, so I am interested in finding where a students musical passion exists, and incorporating it into lesson plans and assignments. I have been teaching since I was in high school, maintaining a private studio and teaching lessons and sectionals in Cleveland schools. Having grown up in a large family, I love working with children and relate well to all ages.
