I currently teach high school students piano performance as well as AP music. I studied at the renowned Hartt School of Music, Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz in Hartford CT where I graduated with my bachelors in music with honors. There are so many misconceptions about reed strength and how it relates to mouthpieces that I could talk about it all day (and usually do).
