Since then, I have moved to Nashville, earned my Master's Degree from Belmont University in 2014, and have began my professional career as a freelance saxophonist. I have had the chance to perform and record in some of Nashville's most historic venues and recording studios. Hello! I just graduated from my masters degree from Ohio University in Clarinet Performance and earned my bachelor from Western Kentucky University in Music/Spanish. I started teaching band camp after my first year of college have not stopped, soon after that I started giving private lessons to clarinetist in the western Ky area and I realize that I loved it. I also minored in Music Business, and Entomology and Plant Pathology. I am a Presser Scholar and was a member of the UT Chancellor’s Honors Program and a Student Ambassador for the University of Tennessee School of Music. I started teaching in 2009 in Mississippi. I taught 6th grade band (beginner), 7th grade band, and high school. I taught in Mississippi for 5 years and just recently moved to Tennessee. While teaching, I've given private lessons to some of my students after school and to some students who did not attend my school. I always encourage doing a recital, entering competitions, and continuing on to college playing their instrument. I love motivating students and challenging them to be the best and nothing less.
