I then was selected to be the flute instructor at a New Horizon's Band Program. In this program, I taught flute choir to retired adults twice each week, and some of them became my private students. After they develop the basic skills, I will move the student onto Robert Cavally's Melodious and Progressive Studies etude book. From there, I may introduce solo repertoire into the curriculum.
