Uniquely, I have helped on movie sets to make actors "look" like musicians. I do train stunt-doubles for the accuracy of the filmed scenes. I have played on albums for studio work and have composed my own music, and support improvisation. I began teaching flute lessons when I was in my undergraduate degree. I had private students from local high schools in Iowa City. I then was selected to be the flute instructor at a New Horizon's Band Program. In this program, I taught flute choir to retired adults twice each week, and some of them became my private students.
