During the 2015-16 season, I completed a tour with pianist Amanda Zook (Cosme-Zook Duo), performing in New York City, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and Canada. These concerts were sponsored by Project 142 and themselves. As an educator, I teach at the Escuela de Música de Manatí. There I teach flute, flute choir, and wind ensemble. Also, I hold the teacher's assistant position given by my mentor Josué Casillas. I have attended festivals such as' Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival, and the Nuevo Mundo Festival & Academy. Read More

Izzo has performed at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Symphony Space, The Stone, National Sawdust, and the Jazz Standard. An active orchestral musician, she has played under conductors like Kurt Masur, Eric Jacobsen, JoAnn Falletta, Alondra De La Parra, and George Manahan and worked with musicians including Sir James Galway, Robert Langevin, Carol Wincenc, Paula Robison, David Krakauer, and Charles Neidich. Igor performed at jazz festivals in Ljubljana, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Csfero, at major jazz clubs in New York including the Jazz Standard, Cornelia Street Cafe, Supper Club, Birdland; and venues all over the world with such jazz legends as Reggie Workman, John Abercrombie, Chico Hamilton. In 2011 I was commissioned to create a piece for a closure of European Capital of Culture. With multimedia artist Zeljka Blaksic he created Resistance of the Earth, which is a multimedia project that combines several artistic genres; from video, performance, 16 mm film to live music. I tailor lessons to each individual student by focusing on the areas of which they would like to improve. I help students achieve their goals by giving them specific assignments for the following lesson.
