I have also performed many solos at OMEA Solo and Ensemble. In 2015, I performed the class B piece Allegro by Antonio Vivaldi and received an excellent rating. In 2016, I performed the class A piece Concert Etude by Aleksandr Goedicke and received a superior rating. In 2017, I performed the class A piece Sonata (mvt. 2) by Eric Ewazen and received a superior rating. With my primary insturment being flute, I began teaching private lessons in 2008 while I was still in high school. I taught the younger flute students in the Worthington School Distrct. When I started college, I continued to teach flute lessons and I then began teach saxophone lessons as well. I began began my musical career as an elementary school student selecting the flute as my primary instrument. I dedicated over four hours a day to practice and skill development. My time in high school led me to perform in several high profile venues which include: Orlando Theme Parks, halftime shows with Ronnie Millsap, and The Georgia Mass Choir. I approach every genre with a strong foundation in order to make repertoire more approachable, such as learning a variety of scales, developing good tone, and working on method or etude books to strengthen the range of possibilities on their instruments.
